Steam & Steel - Train Mechanical - Rust - Yardage

Just got a yard of this for my dad's model railway backdrop and the vintage locomotive print makes it look like a real historical photo. The rusty brown tones are exactly what I was hoping for.

This fabric has that imperfect, industrial look I was after for a train-themed quilt, with the rust print feeling authentically aged. The hand is a bit stiffer than quilting cotton, which actually helps the panels hold their shape.

The color palette is exactly what I hoped for—those deep rusts and steely grays feel like they jumped straight off an old locomotive. The fabric has a nice weight to it, not too flimsy, and the industrial prints are crisp enough for detailed cutting.
