على الجانب البري - بقع كثيرة - سموك يارداج

The spots have a great organic feel against the smoky gray, and the cotton has a nice, smooth hand for piecing. I used it for a background in a modern quilt and it added just the right amount of texture without being too busy.

The gray background makes those spots pop beautifully, and the fabric feels substantial without being stiff. I'm already planning a second project for the leftovers.

This batik has such a nice hand—soft and pliable right out of the package. The gray spots against the lighter background are subtle but add great texture for a quilt backing. Already planning my next project with it.
