HQ Black Light HG00294

I can finally see my white thread clearly on white fabric without squinting—the purple glow makes all the difference. It’s simple to use and works exactly as described for marking quilting lines.

I was skeptical that a UV light would make a real difference with white thread on white fabric, but this little lamp really does turn the thread a vivid purple that's easy to follow. It's small enough to clip onto my sewing table without getting in the way.

The UV lamp is compact enough to sit right next to my machine, and it makes white thread pop as bright purple against light cotton—such a game changer for piecing. Only wish the cord were a bit longer, but for the price it does exactly what it says.
