I used up a bunch of fabric scraps from my stash, and the boxed bag template made cutting the curved corners surprisingly fast. Finished one in an evening, and it holds a soup bowl perfectly without scorching my hands.

The darts and curved corners came together so smoothly using the Boxed Bag Template, and I love that it’s all scrap-friendly. My first bowl cozy turned out perfectly sturdy, and the postcard pattern adds a fun, retro touch to the kitchen.

Using scrap fabric for the curved corners gave my bowl cozy a perfectly tailored fit, and the darts instructions were clear enough for a beginner like me. I finished one in an afternoon, and it’s already getting daily use for hot soup.
