I was worried the hand-dyed color would look flat, but it actually shifts in the light like real suede. The cotton cuts cleanly with almost no fraying, which made my quilt binding way easier.

The cotton has this soft, brushed feel that genuinely reads like suede, but it presses and sews like a normal quilting weight. I used it for a fall table runner and the depth of color is unreal compared to anything I've picked up at a big box store.

I expected the hand-dyed suede look to feel stiff, but it's actually soft 100% cotton that drapes beautifully. The colors shift subtly depending on the light, which gives my quilt borders real depth. No fraying at all after a prewash, either.
