I bought this to recover some dining chair seats and the suede-like texture is surprisingly soft for 100% cotton. The peacock color shifts a bit in different light, which makes the chairs look way more expensive than they were.

I bought two yards for a quilted jacket and the hand-dyed color shifts are unreal—rich peacock tones that catch light differently in every seam. It presses beautifully and doesn't fray much, though I'd wash it cold first since the dye runs a touch.

The suede-like finish on this cotton is unreal, it drapes softly and doesn't fray much when I cut it. I used it for a quilted throw and the depth of color honestly looks richer than any solid cotton I've worked with.
