The hand-dyed finish gives this cotton a soft suede-like look that's way richer than plain quilting fabric. I used it for a tote bag and the lime color has this subtle depth that shifts in different light.

The color depth is incredible—it really does mimic suede but with the breathability of cotton. I’ve already used a yard for a throw pillow and the hand-dyed variation makes each piece feel one-of-a-kind.

I bought two yards of the lime for a quilt backing and the suede-like texture is unlike any plain cotton I've worked with. Drapes beautifully, though it frayed more than I expected when I cut it, so pinking shears are a must.
